The Basics of EVP's
Hello and welcome to the official site of Ghost Watch R.I.P. (GWRIP) My name is Ron and I founded ghost watch to help find some answers for those who have experienced the paranormal. Personally I have researched the world of the paranormal for over twenty years and have witnessed many phenomena. In late 2008 I talked to a friend of mine who works for a local news channel about doing a documentary on one of my ghost hunts.
What followed after that experience made us both realize that we had some stories to tell and a lot of work to do. So we put together a team of individuals who's professions range from retail shop owners, law enforcement, and teachers to name a few. Our approach to the paranormal is simple, explain what can be explained away and present the evidence we collect to those interested as best as we can.
Everyone has a great ghost story, what's yours?
From the start we wanted to make this site and our group a little different than a lot of others out there. We decided to be as visual as possible and to put both paranormal evidence and evidence of debunking up for review by our fans. We also wanted researchers with good analytical skills and knowledge of the paranormal. By filming the investigations we are creating a multimedia archive of cases, highlights of which you will see here. We hope that this will act as a source of education for those who may be experiencing suspected paranormal events and for those those who might be getting into this field. There are many common occurrences which can be and are mistaken for paranormal events every day especially if a site has a particular history. The goal of GWRIP is to gather, analyze and present data. In the end it is up to each individual to make up his or her mind and to take away from that data what ever they will.
